Extended Stay America San Jose - Morgan Hill

Was a good hotel for quick stays and travel business people, the location was great right off the freeway.

For business travelers, this is a perfect location. Plenty of restaurants, Starbucks, Grocery Store, Office Supply stores, and FedEx 24 hour close by. Now they just need to teach the cleaning staff to clean the rooms better. Being an extended stay, my room had a kitchen. I went to grab something out of one of the drawers and found ½ an onion that had been in the drawer for a very long time. Also, the toilet kept running all night long. I couldn't believe when we checked in that the room was dirty and when we left and came back from an outing our room was still dirty! Later we were told that they only clean rooms on weekend. I recently suffered a stroke and use a cane. The room has a roll in shower but he tile is old and looks dirty. The shower chair is slippery and I almost fell. The microwave, coffee pot didn't work sufficiently. The microwave buttons didn't work and the coffee spilled out of the pot when pouring it. There is a big red chair that didn't fit in the room but they made it fit making the room inaccessible for me. ...read more

I was expecting a 2 star room, but got a 3 star room. Little sparse on the ammenities, but I did not need them.

Hotel was great. Accidentally left car keys in room when departed. Manager was very slow in mailing them to me, after I agreed to have him charge my credit card to send them overnight. Disgusting and dirty. Room had not been vacuumed - debris visible on carpet. Hallway full of trash including toilet paper unrolled in elevator. Promised a non-smoking room. Desk clerk tried to claim that room that reeked of cigarette smoke and contained dirty hotel ashtrays was a non smoking room and that none others were available even though the parking lot was nearly empty. ...read more

Great price for weary traveler. Extras make it comfortable.

Very nice place and friendly. Has a kitchen in the room which is nice. The bed was way to hard. Thank goodness I was only there one night.

My stay was brief, but for my needs this place exceeded expectations. The room was clean, comfortable, and had I needed the kitchenette it was stocked with pans, plates, cups, bowls, etc. Great stay for the price I paid! ...read more
